It was to the cheers of the 1,480 people at Espace Pierre Bachelet in Dammarie-les-Lys that
Adèle Bonnamour
was crowned Miss Île-de-France 2022. A few minutes after being crowned
Miss France
2022 by
Diane Leyre
,
the young 18-year-old woman couldn't believe it:
“I'm in shock.
It was a friend who registered me for the competition so I did not expect to find myself there at all.
I had a complex about my height for a long time
(she measures 1.86m, editor's note)
, before accepting it and I said to myself
“
it's a challenge to take on, we'll see
”,
and that's it!

Emeritus sportswoman
This distinguished sportswoman, who has been playing tennis for twelve years, is in her second year at the ESSCA business school in Paris.
She will soon fly to Guadeloupe where the preparation trip will take place.
She participated in the election as second runner-up to Miss Paris 2022. Andréa Furet, the first young transgender woman to participate in a Miss France election and first runner-up to Miss Paris, as well as Océane Bobèche, Miss Paris 2022 were also candidates during the evening but did not make it to the top five finalists.
According to Adèle Bonnamour, it was her naturalness and her spontaneity that made the difference.
She won the election ahead of Julie Dupont and Victoria Chauchard, a 29-year-old dentist.

A special election for Diane Leyre
This election had a very special flavor for Diane Leyre who returned her Miss Île-de-France 2021 scarf under the eyes of her parents but also of Sylvie Tellier and Alexia Laroche-Joubert (who was part of the jury and returned to Dammarie -les-Lys fourteen years after having spent a lot of time there as director of the “Star Academy”).
“It is necessarily a special election for me and I am very moved to go back on the stage of the Espace Pierre Bachelet in Dammarie-les-Lys, because it is here that everything began for me and that my life changed.
“Explains Miss France 2022 who, a few moments before starting the ceremony, did not think she would crack emotionally during the evening.
"
I am a very modest person and, if I give a lot to the French, there is a part of me that I keep private, it is the emotion that I can feel.
Tonight, I'm also stressed to find out if those who elected me a year ago are proud.
Did I measure up and represent them well?
Either way, I did my best.

Many tributes
However, the young woman had something to be moved as the ceremony was filled with marks of affection towards her, imagined by Laure Mattioli, the regional delegate of the election.
The latter wanted to pay tribute to her on several occasions, in particular with a retrospective retracing her reign with comments from her relatives or a song specially written in her honor sung by the former Miss Île-de-France and some of her runners-up on the aria from
For You to Love Me Again
by Celine Dion.
The theme of the show was even "Diane in Paris", in a nod to the Emily in Paris series with paintings in reference to Fashion Week or the Moulin Rouge.
“Diane will be a good adviser.
Like her, I will try to wear the crown of Île-de-France to the end”
Adele Bonamour
At the end of the show, Diane Leyre crowned Adèle Bonnamour, whom she says she now considers her little sister, and intends to guide her so that she tries to succeed him on December 17 in Châteauroux.
The new elected official is well aware of this:
“She has set the bar very high!
She will be a good adviser.
Like her, I will try to wear the crown of Ile de France to the end
.
No Miss Universe
For Diane Leyre, the date of the election of Miss France 2023 will really mark the end of her adventure since she will not participate in Miss Universe, as she would have liked to do.
“I will not be the French representative for Miss Universe this year.
It is with great difficulty that I say this because, those who know me know that this is my ultimate dream
, she confides
.
Unfortunately, January 14 is a date very close to that of the election of Miss France.
There are also other reasons that made it difficult for me to participate.
However, when it comes to representing France, I don't want to do it in a trivial way... I'm sure that Floriane Bascou, my first runner-up, will be a very good representative because she has had time to prepare. , she took English lessons and already has a catwalk that is ready for Miss Universe.
As for Clémence Botino, she will be perfect at Miss World.
She is made to be on stage so I am delighted and I will follow her 100%.
For my part, I hope one day to represent France.
If not, I will continue to do so with great heart.
