Opinion to transfer the coalition to the opposition Israel today

The current government is one of the most anti-social that has ruled here • imposed taxes on poor consumers, made public transportation to the periphery more expensive and neglected the victims of the Corona

The public discussion leading up to the elections suffers from avoiding the main point: what the current government did and what should be done in view of the reality that emerged during its tenure.

First, the government cuts its services to the Arab-Muslim minority in the country.

It transferred billions of public funds to the management of the representatives of its ally, the Islamist party RAM, from the Muslim Brotherhood's founding home. Instead of direct state services, it is Islamist businessmen who distribute services to the Arab-Muslim population.

The Netanyahu government increased the funding of these services, but tried not to dangerously empower businessmen who might create in Israel an Islamist sector, similar to the ultra-orthodox sector, and also similar, in contrast, to the sector that Hamas developed from, the one that was created under our rule in the Gaza Strip, under the leadership of Yassin.

We are all experiencing the result of the policy "wisdom" of the security establishment in Gaza.

The Lapid government returns and establishes here the first social phase of pre-Hamas in the Negev, the Galilee, the Triangle and the mixed cities.

It is hard to overstate this danger.

The next step is terrorism.

Second, the current government has consistently undermined the authority of the Knesset and its sovereign status.

It began with a violent trampling of the opposition position in the Knesset committees, and with it the trampling of the rules of fair play that had been in place in the Knesset since 1948.

Not the opposition alone was harmed, but the entire Knesset, led by a speaker devoid of even a semblance of respectability, a former policeman whose political training is limited to pleasing the ruler of his dictatorial party.

And it ends now by skipping the Knesset's approval of the agreement with Lebanon.

Before us is a serious violation of the sovereignty of the citizens, of which the Knesset is the main fortress.

From the point of view of intelligent voters, these are signs of tyrannical ambitions to attack the authority of our representatives in the Knesset.

These ambitions were already revealed at Gantz and Sa'ar's press conference and in the programs of the Israeli Institute for "Democracy" and the Center for Citizen "Empowerment".

The plan is to normalize the reality of an immune minority government, which does not derive its authority from the Knesset, that is, to transfer to the entire country the despotic character of the Lapid and Gantz parties.

This is also a weighty reason for Israeli voters to wave a red card against the coalition parties.

Thirdly, the current government is one of the anti-social ones that ruled here.

Not for nothing does Lieberman market his social right policy on billboards.

This government imposed taxes on poor consumers, cut subsidies for families with many children, made public transportation to the periphery more expensive and abandoned the victims of the corona virus.

It has preserved the monopolies in the import of food and agricultural products, and in this failure is responsible for the crisis of rising prices that hits the poor hard.

Under her rule, the housing crisis worsened, and unlike Kahlon's rather unsuccessful attempt, she did not even try to deal with it.

The current coalition brought the erosion of the welfare state to a low.

An alliance between the privileged parties from the center-left and between sectional parties such as Israel Beitno and Ra'am adopted a brutal social policy. After the Netanyahu-Kahlon governments softened the harsh results of the privatization policy of the early 2000s, and improved the inequality indices here (for example, the C indices Yani on the revenues) - under the Lapid government we returned to the pattern of segmentation and a divisive economic policy.

Fourthly, under the current coalition, the human rights crisis and corruption in the police and prosecutor's offices have worsened: the Pegasus cover-ups, the fifth dimension and the M.H.S., the attempt to whitewash the pimp in the jails just as the Tax Authority case, the Abergil gang and the attorney Ruth David were whitewashed. Someone in the government woke up.

No wonder, when Gantz and Lapid (and also the "law-keeping" citizen Lieberman...) swear to "protect the justice system" - and actually continue to abandon it to dangerous processes of degeneration.

All these facts are very blurred in the Israeli press, but they are clearly visible to the eyes of the voter.

He is responsible.
