Produced by the agency TBWA Corporate, an unprecedented media plan began this Sunday for a period of one month, with this slogan: "The same flame animates you."

Strengthen its ranks, by creating new vocations among young people, from the age of 18.

The National Gendarmerie is launching a vast recruitment campaign: posting in the street, film on television, spot on social networks (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)... Produced by the agency TBWA Corporate, an unprecedented media plan began this Sunday to a period of one month, with this slogan:

"The same flame animates you."

Composed of 130,000 active or reservists – 20% of whom are military women – the institution guarantees the security of citizens in mainland France, overseas and abroad.

From the volunteer deputy gendarme to the post of officer, the objective is to recruit 10,000 to 12,000 people, knowing that the orientation and programming law of the Ministry of the Interior - adopted at first reading by the Senate last week - provides notably the creation of 200 gendarmerie brigades.

Sense of commitment

More than 300 different professions are open, ranging from environmental protection to cybersecurity.

All profiles, graduates or not, can apply.

And, because it is difficult to recruit young people whose aspirations for work have changed, the new campaign seeks to reach them, by highlighting the meaning of a commitment to the gendarmerie, whose professions contribute to the interest general.

To help them take the plunge, gendarmes on duty have agreed to stage themselves and testify to their reality on the ground.

"I wanted to join the gendarmerie in order to belong to a big family, with strong values such as courage, discipline and cohesion",

says Juliette, 28, a support non-commissioned officer, hoping to encourage vocations. .
