The design must start from the view of the sea.

buyers who buy contractor apartments receive homes in the mirror Clean and very basic standard.

Any such standard apartment can become a house designed in a unique style and it can be taken in countless directions, but when the location of the apartment overlooks a unique and spectacular sea view, it is clear that the starting point for the design must start there - from the sea.

The current apartment is in a residential tower in the Ein Hayam neighborhood in Hadera, a neighborhood that is very close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Israel.

"Usually, the tendency of clients with homes on the sea is to design them to have a 'relaxing' look in white and sand tones," says interior designer Vared Bartel, but not in the case before us.

The couple who purchased the apartment moved to it from a modern house with monochromatic shades, and they wanted the color to be present in their new home.

"The entire house was designed in such a way that it continues the atmosphere of the landscape, and the landscape you see in front of you is not a picture from the computer, it is a real landscape that you simply cannot take your eyes off of," says Bartel.

The owners of the apartment were unanimous that it was time to bring color into their lives - what do you say - did they succeed?

The owners of the house actually bought the new apartment for the new chapter in their lives - their children grew up and left their previous house, which was designed in a very clean modern style with a lot of use of the color white.

"In their new apartment, they were unanimous that it was time to bring some color into their lives and they mentioned that they would like to see colorful, lively and warm colors in their new home - and that's exactly how a modern apartment was created, saturated with color, warm and connected to the endless view from it," explains the designer.

Although the use of blue shades does not meet the definition of a warm color, the shades were chosen according to their location in the apartment, their boldness and the way they blend ideally, while also blending with the textiles and emphasizing the accessories.

"A wink of surprise."

Bartel divided the central space of the house into two parts: kitchen and living room, and completely omitted the dining area.

When the children or other guests arrive, the couple will be able to open a long dining table from a console piece of furniture that stands nearby and is used daily as a design item.

An island with frontal seating for four people was placed in the kitchen, to provide a daily solution for eating and sitting in the kitchen, and in addition, carpentry items were inserted to give it lightness and aesthetics.

The entrance to the house leads us straight to the kitchen and facing the sea, and from here it was decided to paint it in colors that would continue the view and blend in with it.

The blue of the kitchen is complimented by accents in a shade of walnut wood that blends with the darkness and does not create a jarring contrast of colors.

The touches of time add warmth to the house and balance the blue, which is essentially a cold color.

The warm colors that characterize the house were also included in the sideboard of the living room, with a modern touch and a wink of surprise, in the form of the library of shelves whose shelves do not reach from side to side, but end in front of the frame of the library.

Smoky and calm shades and lighting that has been given a lot of thought.

There was an argument about the curtain.

The parents' room became a particularly luxurious suite - it was enlarged at the expense of half a room that was adjacent to it, "and here, unlike the rest of the house, things become more relaxed," says Bartel.

"The colors chosen for the parents' room are smoky colors and they were combined with wood and with warm colors such as moving pink. The client hesitated about the curtain because he did not want to hide the beautiful view. But in the end it was decided that the curtain adds softness and a dimension of romance to the space itself. Therefore, it was decided to incorporate several shades into it and textures to bring out the drama in the room."

The lighting in the room was divided into practical lighting and ambient lighting, above the cabinets there is spot lighting that illuminates the cabinets inward, and makes it possible to create a particularly pleasant atmosphere, since they are not focused on the center of the room.

Ceiling lighting is the practical lighting.

And the bedside lighting adapts to the space, with crystal-style fixtures.

Even a white wall can give "color".

"In the master shower, which was also enlarged to be more luxurious, I decided to keep the white, neutral, clean and fresh color together with touches of color that remind and connect to the atmosphere of the entire house. It should be noted that white can also be played with, so we added white decor and combined it with the smooth white, the lighting emphasizes it and adds interest to the entire wall. I wanted to stay in the modern/romantic style, so the look was cut in a capsule shape. The carpentry was designed as modern with touches that remind us of more romantic and rustic furniture.

The general bathroom, which is used both as a guest bathroom and as a classic bathroom, was also treated with a design line similar to the one chosen For the bathroom in the master suite. The materials are the same, only the locations have changed, here too there is a white decor wall and a cabinet in the shade of blue that runs throughout the house like the second thread. The mirror in the bathroom is also a capsule mirror that reminds of the parents' bathroom, but here it is in a corner, in order to enlarge the room, and also creates an interesting wink of design.
