Erding – With a special screening on October 27 (7 p.m.) and a school screening on October 28, both in the presence of director Karin Kaper, the Cineplex Erding is showing the cinema documentary We are the Jews from Breslau.
A highly explosive film that sends a strong message against nationalist and anti-Semitic currents in Europe.
A film that shows where a catastrophic policy of sealing off refugees leads.
A film that, based on the life stories of the protagonists, also connects the founding of the State of Israel with the experiences of the Holocaust.
14 eyewitnesses are the focus.
Some had to flee or go into exile, some survived the Auschwitz concentration camp.
Deprived of their homeland, they built a new life in the USA, England, France and also in Germany.
Quite a few participated in the founding of Israel.
Tickets are available in advance on the Cineplex Erding website.
