Leslie Jordan, a beloved comedian and actor known for his work on "Will and Grace," has died, a member of his staff told CNN.

He was 67 years old.

Sources told the

Los Angeles Times

that Jordan was in a car accident Monday morning in Hollywood.

An LAPD spokesperson confirmed to CNN that there was a fatal crash, but did not disclose further details.

CNN has reached out to Jordan's agent and attorney for comment.

The Los Angeles County coroner had no information when contacted by CNN.
