Suspicions of Libyan financing of Sarkozy's campaign: the investigations are over

The prospect of a new trial is looming for Nicolas Sarkozy.

After nearly ten years of investigations into suspicions of Libyan financing of his victorious 2007 campaign, the investigating judges have completed their investigation in which he is being prosecuted with twelve other people.
