Douge is a new luxury restaurant that opened last month in San Francisco.
It offers those who come through its doors three-course organic gourmet meals that are as pleasing to the eye as to the palate, mouth-watering desserts and upgraded cocktails.
The twist: As its name suggests, Douge is not for humans, but for dogs.

So basically get a cancellation: this is not a gourmet restaurant, but a gourmet restaurant, which will serve your best friends delicacies such as spirulina pastry and meat with honey and organic lemon;
a delicacy known as Red Rose made of pasteurized cream, beetroot powder and antelope heart (!);

And this month's special: beef tartare with quail egg and organic broccoli sprouts (pictured).

"Dogchino" is refreshing, of course.
Although the restaurant's menu changes according to the supply of seasonal raw materials, a full three-course meal, served on site every Sunday and which the diner on four will not forget, well, probably until his next meal, will cost $75.
It's certainly not cheap for a meal that your Leni will suck in half a minute, but true love and endless licks of appreciation are not measured in money, right?
Behind the sneaky venture is a French chef named Rami Massarva, who believes that dogs also deserve to enjoy fresh, nutritious and unprocessed food.
Masarwa conceived the startup back in 2010, after he and his wife adopted Grizzly, an English Mastiff puppy who just didn't like - perhaps rightly so - the routine and boring dog food that was poured into his bowl every day.
The couple discovered that Grizzly was much more into fresh food, and in 2015 they started selling fresh and packaged "dog treats."
The restaurant, as mentioned, was recently opened, and although there are restaurants in the world that offer dishes for both dogs and humans, Douge is the only gourmet restaurant designed for dogs only.
Therefore, the owners who charge her to the standard of companions will have to make do with some sandwich they brought from home, and will be asked not to look at their bulging pets with sad eyes, with a twisted tongue and a drooling mouth, as if they are begging for some crumb to be thrown at them.
