She had never spoken.
She was mentioned by Sandrine Rousseau, in mid-September, when she revealed on television the accusations of psychological violence against the EELV deputy for Paris, Julien Bayou.
In a long article published on the Reporterre site, the ex-companion of the politician looks back on their relationship, and describes what looks like hell, at least psychological.
Agathe (assumed name) had her first contact with Julien Bayou in 2016 when she joined Europe Écologie-les Verts (EELV) and was delighted about it on Twitter.
Following which Julien Bayou sends him a private message and offers him a drink.
A year and a half later, they start dating until they are a couple.
"He told me that I obsessed him, then disappeared, came back, made me climb on the roofs of Paris for an oh so romantic evening under the stars", says the young woman, seven years younger than him.
But the love story quickly deteriorated, according to Agathe's account to Reporterre.
"He played with my memory, on what he told me, on what I had heard," she explains.
“I could bear his contradictions less and less, I tried to argue, to explain how such and such a situation made me suffer, why I experienced such and such a thing as a humiliation…” she continues.
And to describe, on the part of Julien Bayou, coldness, lack of response and empathy.
The name of her rapist in support of Bayou
In 2021, Julien Bayou is a candidate for the regional in Île-de-France.
To Agathe, he shows her his website.
She is "stunned" when she discovers, on her website, among her supporters, the name of a man she accuses of having raped her a few years earlier.
“When I pointed it out to him, he told me that he had seen, yes, but that he had obviously forgotten to remove the name.
I asked him to write to this man to tell him that he did not want his support.
But he refused,” she recalls.
Agathe also says she was surprised to learn that Julien Bayou, whom she thought was the only girlfriend, actually sees other women, without protecting herself.
The young woman explains that the one who is now a deputy thought he was in a free relationship.
The newspaper interviewed a woman among these "others" who explained, too, that she was at that time in an exclusive relationship with Julien Bayou.
As Sandrine Rousseau had indicated on the set of "C à vous", Agathe twice wanted to end her life: a first time in April 2022 when she learned that activists were worried about new dating. Julien Bayou (the politician's door will be tagged with the words "Julien Bayou your cock is a sewer in MST", reports Reporterre);
the second at the end of June 2022 after having sent a letter to several members of EELV in which she expressed her desire to "die to protect others".
It was feminist activist Caroline de Haas who called the fire brigade after Agathe swallowed a box of antidepressants.
Other women testify
Reporterre also collected the testimonies of several other ex-Julien Bayou, two of whom were able to evoke traumatic phenomena.
One of them, who realized that he was cheating on her, describes “emotional pain”.
Another, with whom Julien Bayou cheated on the previous witness, accuses Julien Bayou of having kissed her by surprise.
“In this context of seduction, I did not perceive this as a sexual assault.
And then he came to apologize two days later, ”she says, however.
Contacted by Reporterre, Julien Bayou did not wish to respond.
“I have never committed psychological violence against my ex-companion,” assured the deputy from Paris in an interview with Le Monde.
At the end of September, under pressure, Julien Bayou had announced that he would resign from his post as national secretary of EELV and to withdraw, in particular from the environmental group in the National Assembly of which he was co-president.
