Mobile medical clinics operating in the campaign to investigate cancer have reached new areas in the countryside of Hama governorate, including four villages located within the scope of work of the first health area.
Head of the Public Health Programs Department in Hama Health Directorate, Dr. Saad Shomel, told SANA reporter that the four medical clinics were distributed in the villages of Bisireen, Maar Shahhour, al-Hamra and Taqsis, indicating that the campaign targets more than 4,700 pre-registered people, where medical examinations will be conducted for them for breast and neck cancers. uterus and prostate, until the thirtieth of this month.
Shomel called on the residents of the aforementioned villages who wish to conduct screening tests for cancer to go to the mobile clinics that are located near the headquarters of the municipalities to benefit from their services, noting that all the tests are free and after the results appear, all suspected cases will be followed up by the Hama Health Directorate and under the supervision of the National Cancer Control Committee .
Shomel indicated that from October 31 to November 6, mobile clinics will go to the second health area in the governorate, where they will be distributed in addition to health centers in the towns of Qamhana, Rabieh, Al Maw’ah and Beisin, noting that those wishing to benefit from the campaign can register Their names are in the health centers of their municipalities to benefit from the examinations provided by the National Cancer Detection Campaign.
It is noteworthy that the mobile medical clinics have conducted medical examinations since the launch of the campaign in Hama Governorate on the 19th of last September in the areas of Salamiyah, Masyaf and Suqaylabiyah.
