Giovanni Zarrella was once again absent from Florian Silbereisen's "hit anniversary".
Instead, the musician made a guest appearance at the competition – and then made many people ponder with his words.
Cologne/Leipzig – On Saturday evening (October 22nd) Florian Silbereisen (41) celebrated his big “hit anniversary” in the first – but not live, but in a program that had already been recorded in advance.
Parallel to the broadcast, Giovanni Zarrella (44) was a guest on ProSieben's ratings hit "The Masked Singer";
on the other hand, he was absent again from his 41-year-old colleague’s hit show.
Instead, there was an announcement on Instagram that can certainly be understood as a dig at the folk musician.

Giovanni Zarrella and Florian Silbereisen have meanwhile sung and moderated their way up to the biggest German hit stars of all time, but while the two full-blooded musicians have often been seen side by side in the past, each one seems to be going their own way.

In "The Great Hit Jubilee 2022", after all, Florian Silbereisen's record-breaking 100th "Die Feste" show, superstars like Nena (62), Roland Kaiser (70) and even Helene Fischer (38) appeared, from whom the German-Italian was missing however, every trace.
Instead, the 44-year-old competed indirectly with Silbereisen, after all he was a guest on "The Masked Singer" at the same time as the broadcast.
But the "Ciao!" interpreter could have made both appointments: the ProSieben show ran live, while the Silbereisen show was once again recorded in advance.

Florian Silbereisen didn't splash out on his 100th Eurovision show: For "The Big Hit Jubilee 2022 – To the Next 100!" Almost everything that was ranked and well-known was fetched.
The hit star should be happy about top-class guests such as Helene Fischer (38), Beatrice Egli (34) or Andreas Gabalier (37).
Schlager icon Jürgen Drews (77) even gave his penultimate appearance at the event, while Nena (62) surprised Silbereisen, who was moved to tears, and who even sang his favorite song to him.
Giovanni Zarrella raves about the live show – hidden dig at Florian Silbereisen?
Live shows are becoming more and more of a rarity for Florian Silbereisen – is that reason enough for Giovanni Zarrella to fire against his hit colleague?
The ZDF presenter, who recently even scooped the "German TV Award", not only turned to his fans via Instagram after his "The Masked Singer" appearance, but also caused a stir there with a remarkably frequently used formulation.

“[There] will be a big live show, live music, live entertainment, a live evening that I'm really looking forward to. I've rehearsed a lot with the band. We have great productions, great choreographies. Very great artists there. 'The Giovanni Zarrella Show' on November 5 at 8:15 p.m. on ZDF. Have a nice live evening with you,” the former Bro'Sis star announced the upcoming edition of his music show – using the word “live” five times.

So has Giovanni Zarrella had enough of playback and clocked shows?
It almost seems so.
But although most of the evening's show seemed meticulously planned for his buddy, a guest allowed himself a comment that you probably didn't want to cut out: Because of the Winnetou debate, Andy Borg suddenly scolded from the off at the "Schlagerjubiläum".
