Lying next to the tracks, the federal police picked up a man at Wächterhof station who was obviously confused.

He could not explain to the police how he had come to the district of Munich.

Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn – The federal police were informed on Wednesday evening about a helpless person who was said to be in the track area of ​​the S-7 route between the Hohenbrunn and Wächterhof stations.

Patrol officers, who were supported from the air by a helicopter from the Oberschleißheim Federal Police Air Squadron, were finally able to find a 61-year-old unharmed near the Wächterhof S-Bahn station thanks to the use of a thermal imaging camera.

Man makes confused statements

After the man, who lives in Erding, was taken out of the danger area, he made confused statements to the officials.

He was also unable to explain how he got to the site from Erding.

Since the 61-year-old did not need medical care and, according to the police, was in good condition on the outside, the officers took him to his apartment in Erding.

For the duration of the operation, the S-Bahn ran on sight in the section between Hohenbrunn and Wächterhof.

There were only minor operational restrictions.
