Scholz is right.
And this line is also that of Biden and Macron: while helping Ukraine militarily, we must avoid
“a direct conflict between Russia and NATO”
.
Except that we are almost there: since the American reversal last April, after the disaster of the first Russian offensive against kyiv, the United States above all, and NATO have poured nearly 20 billion euros in military aid into Ukraine, and 60 billion in total aid.
