If Blois is known for its royal castle with its architecture mixing styles from the 13th to the 17th centuries, it is less so for its gastronomy.
However, the city, located at the gates of the Loire Valley, is home to a good number of restaurants paying homage to the Loire region, where one (re)discovers, among other market garden marvels, freshwater fish, Cheverny wines, cheese goat cheese and mushrooms.
The most gastronomic: Amour Blanc

1. THE LOCATION.
With a 180° view of the Loire and the castle, Amour Blanc sits on the top floor of a modern building (glass roof and freestone) within the grounds of Fleur de Loire, the new eco-responsible stronghold of peasant chef Christophe Hay.
Minimalist decoration, terrace for sunny days and room bathed in light, to experiment for the lunch menu in a gastro atmosphere at low prices.
On the ground floor, you have to go to the pastry kiosk to prolong the experience.
