Was crowned and fell: this is the reason for the resounding failure of Hadar Mokhtar

Hadar Mokhtar caught the attention and disappeared from consciousness (at least politically) about the same speed.

How is it that someone so prominent and knows how to make headlines, failed so miserably in achieving her goal?

In the video: Hadar Mokhtar blocks Ayalon (Youths are on fire)

Hadar Mokhtar broke into our lives in the last few months and attracted a great deal of fire and attention to her, mainly by intelligent use of social networks, and other sensations she made sure to create: yelling at interviewers, yelling at other politicians, crying, bursting onto the stage at the conference of influencers, and more.

In the short period in which we know her, Mukhtar managed to both break into consciousness and challenge the saying 'there is no such thing as negative publicity'.

And all this without even talking about the apartment-not-an-apartment saga.

Now, days before the elections, I don't know anyone who really thinks that young people on fire will pass the percentage of blocking in the upcoming elections.

When she pulled out the "ring" I was still a little curious where she was heading with her campaign, but the picture with the blood, and the roadblocks... it had already become difficult to watch, and even compassionate.

I wish the elections were tomorrow just so that it would be over already.

Still, you have to stop and wonder what her story is.

Is this another millennial who only knows how to cry and shout on social media about how many injustices have been done to her, one who is unable to cope with the fact that she will not enter the Knesset in the foreseeable future and will have to recalculate her course, or a fiery young woman who was indeed misunderstood.

Dr. Ila Yarkoni Sorek, an expert in leadership and female leadership, a lecturer at Reichman University and a supervisor in management and leadership courses in high-tech companies, thinks that Hadar Mokhtar actually has political talent:

There will already be elections and it will be over already.

Hadar Mokhtar - a subject that makes sense to discuss seriously?

"Absolutely yes. Not only is it right to discuss it - it is important. Mainly, it is what is called in a very non-academic language - not yet baked. But I think that in other contexts it will continue to lead very, very significant currents in Israeli society. It makes headlines in a non-traditional way, no It grew out of a party, and it cannot be associated with the right or the left. It is doing something that is non-traditional, and in this I think that it is marking new directions in Israeli politics and perhaps also in the world, and shows that it is possible that things are going to be conducted differently here in the coming years."

Does she have a future in politics?

"Obviously, something will have to change for her to be able to lead something real. The way she's acting now she won't be able to continue, the hype around her has already passed its peak and her provocations are eroding. She continues to do the same thing - only stronger."

What about the negative publicity?

"I don't think she has harmed her image. The marketers can tell her that she is whiny and that she is loud and what she understands from her life and that she is pathetic. Not really a big deal. It is not in the area of negative publicity."

There is no doubt that the issue of the apartment did not add grace to Mokhtar's image, certainly when such information that smells like tax fraud comes to someone who engraves the war on corruption on his banner.

And yet, this topic was also abandoned as quickly as it caught fire.

Anyone who lives in Israel knows that the voting public is ready to forgive its politicians even for things much bigger than this.

Does she do good service?

"Look, British Prime Minister Liz Truss has done very, very serious damage to women in the world. She failed very miserably in leading a country, in leading a crisis, and sealed a truly unprecedented achievement of the shortest term as Prime Minister, this is a disservice. Regarding Hadar Mokhtar, I think that feminism in Her identity is not one of the prominent cards she chose to highlight, and unlike other politicians, the way she conveys them is also very fundamental to what she wants to say."

Hadar Mokhtar (photo: Walla! system, Walla system!)

In retrospect, when the hype around her has already faded, and it is doubtful that she will be able to restore the level of engagement and interest she had, it seems a shame that she refused Kara's offer to head a youth cell in his party - she gave up an opportunity to rub shoulders, make connections and get to know the system from the inside little by little.

Doesn't she really have the strength to work hard and start from the bottom, get her hands dirty at work, really do something?

Why did she give up?

Maybe because of ego, or maybe because even she doesn't really take herself seriously anymore?

As the elections get closer, she picks up a gear, but not in the right direction.

The posts she made in the last two days do evoke compassion for her, but it doesn't seem like they will help her gain political credit.

Yarkoni Sorek agrees: "Her chances of entering the Knesset are very small, but she has tens of thousands of supporters. It is true that in electoral terms it is not enough, but I think that if she continues for another election cycle there is a chance that she will succeed. Precisely if she does not enter the Knesset, I wonder where she will go Take her actions. Will it become, some passing episode, or will there be something that remains. She managed to convince me that she really wants to enter the Knesset and make a change. She is not someone who came just to do "he ha" and gather followers - I think one of the reasons that the young people do not Voters are that they don't see themselves in any party, and I have the feeling that she has already moved the dial of the young people's vote somewhat. We'll see it next week."

If more young people go to vote following her campaign (even for any other party) at least it's an achievement we can credit her with.

It is important to note that she is facing a system of a very discouraged public, which is looking for the least evil in every candidate.

As an intelligent woman who goes through a screen and knows how to use social media to her advantage.

It is not clear how she managed to fall like that.

Is it lack of experience, or simply a generational lack of willingness to work hard?

True, there are other ways to do politics.

If Mokhtar got on the right track, only the next odd post will tell.
