British experts have warned against the consequences of the widespread use of household cleaning products on human health, as they contain chemical components that cause cancer.

And the British newspaper Express quoted experts from (Breast Cancer UK)

The British government said that the chemical mixture in cleaning products makes people more susceptible to cancer, as some household products can contain artificial ingredients known as endocrine disrupting chemicals linked to breast cancer, noting that the use of cleaning products has increased dramatically since the beginning of the Covid pandemic. 19.

While Breast Cancer UK has only linked breast cancer to these powerful chemicals, several other UK research has also linked the use of endocrine-disrupting chemicals to uterine cancer, along with prostate and thyroid cancers.

"Endocrine disrupting chemicals have been linked to hormone-sensitive cancers, such as breast, uterine, prostate and thyroid," said expert Christina Hawkes.

Hawks advised to avoid cleaning with products indoors and to be careful when using sprays, as the droplets can fly and transfer easily to humans and then inhale them, indicating that it is best to look for household products and laundry products approved by international health organizations.
