Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that his country always cares about stability and supports Armenia on security issues.
During his participation today in the meeting of leaders of the CSTO countries via video technology, which took place at the initiative of Armenia to discuss the situation on the border with Azerbaijan, Putin said: “Russia traditionally, as everyone knows well, looks at the historical component, cares about stability, supports Armenian friends and seeks to ensure the security of the Armenian people since Antiquity".
Yesterday, during his speech at the Valdai Club meeting, Putin said that Russia will support any choice of the Armenian people and the Armenian leadership regarding the parameters of a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.
