The 50-year-old, who worked on a plantation in the west of the country, had not returned home on Sunday evening October 23, and had been declared missing by her husband.
During searches carried out that evening on the outskirts of the plantation, the man had also found his wife's sandals, as well as her scarf, her jacket and the tools she had to use at work, which pushed him to mobilize relatives to lead a search.
The next day, the group, accompanied by a police brigade, spotted a giant python seven meters long.
This reptile was therefore suspected of having swallowed the 50-year-old.
