The Theater of the Artists Syndicate in Aleppo hosted the fifth annual artistic concert for the Circassian Charitable Society for Artistic Dance and Folklore, which was held by the Aleppo Governorate on the occasion of the October holidays in cooperation with the Directorate of Culture.
The ceremony included many dances from the Circassian heritage, with the participation of 100 dancers from the band members, who expressed the ancient Circassian culture.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the Secretary of the Society's Board of Directors, Younis, explained the importance of this ceremony, which embodies various topics of Circassian folklore, which carries a message of love and peace, expressing his happiness at presenting the ceremony in Aleppo, the capital of art and culture.
The head of the branch of the Artists Syndicate in Aleppo, Abdel Halim Hariri, indicated that the Syndicate of Artists permanently embraces all diverse cultures, which enriches the artistic and cultural movement in the governorate.
The band's coach, Naseem Khawaz, pointed to the importance of the Circassian heritage inherited from fathers to grandfathers, which is thousands of years old, explaining that today's concert included a variety of dance paintings.
