In the summer months, fans of tobogganing can go down the toboggan slope from the Gletschergarten restaurant in the direction of the Zugspitz glacier.

Hiking along the two adventure trails in the Garmisch-Classic area is particularly suitable for families with children.
The approximately
700 meter long summit adventure trail
around the Osterfelderkopf has various information points as well as quiz-like and interesting stations.
The spectacular
AlpspiX viewing platform
is enthroned at the end of the summit adventure trail, offering breathtaking views far and wide.
From the mountain station of the Alpspitzbahn, the
pleasure adventure trail
meanders over the Almterrassen to the Hochalm and on to the mountain station of the Kreuzeckbahn, which brings day-trippers comfortably back to their starting point in the valley.
A total of
18 lovingly designed stops
over a length of almost three kilometers bring "the stone realm of the giant from the Alpspitze" to life.
