Within the activities of the celebration of the Arab Child’s Day, organized by the Ministry of Culture, the film “Wondor” was shown today at Dar Al-Assad for Culture in Latakia, which addresses a fundamental issue of societal education issues, which is bullying in an attempt to shed light on it and the mechanism of its treatment and dealing with it.
The film talks about a child with congenital malformations from the moment of his birth, his daily journey and the accompanying cases of bullying, highlighting the role of parents with support and guidance and an attempt to overcome difficulties through psychological support and full care and love.
In an interview with SANA reporter, the head of the life skills team, Amal Tobal, stated that the film came to address children from the integrated learning program for school dropouts, and for those who have special circumstances that prevented them from studying, in addition to other children with their families, because this group is fragile in society and we have to support it.
This is what the film achieved by following the children with longing, love, passion and in great harmony expressed by the children during the screening of the film, stressing that the message reached the children through this interaction.
Khaled Al-Bahloul, Administrative Supervisor in the Integrated Learning Team, explained the importance of the Arab Children’s Day, as it is concerned with the child’s issues and focuses on the problems he is exposed to, and trying to find appropriate solutions, through holding awareness seminars and conducting effective dialogue with the child, and focusing on building and strengthening his personality in a healthy way. With science and knowledge, and emphasizing the societal values that contribute to building his personality.
Dr. Fattah Saqr, specializing in social guidance, explained that the film presented the idea of the conflict between form and content, good and evil, and the need to abandon the form and focus on the content, which is the seed that bears the genetic characteristics of everything, stressing that the film carries many values, including the continuation of the content and not the form, as the form disappears and the content Remains.
In turn, the educational guide Ibrahim Al-Zaidi confirmed that the life skills team is trying to present the educational and educational aspect from different angles, through collective viewing and a collective feeling that gives a wonderful collective awareness of the interaction of children and their integration into the details of the film, and this is what is required, considering that the phenomenon of bullying eliminates talents and social life among The human.
