The sophisticated "Webb" telescope of the American space agency once again managed to catch the "Pillars of Creation" - interstellar dust trails that are about 6,500 light years away from us.
The images released on Friday, unlike the images released in mid-October, the telescope was able to capture the "pillars" - each of which spans five light years (or trillions of kilometers) - when they are in infrared light.
Many noted that the resulting colors created a spooky effect, and came just in time for Halloween, which is traditionally celebrated in the US on Tuesday with costumes of demons and ghosts.
It is a celestial structure that has been known since 1995, when it was photographed by the Hubble telescope in 1995, then again in 2014.
But as mentioned, the infrared light is unique this time, mainly because it is not absorbed by the human eye.
On a scientific level, the new photograph, unlike the one published about ten days ago, will allow a more accurate examination of the interstellar dust of the pillars, or rather what it hides - the stars in the making.
