The “Last renovation” collective interrupts an Opera in Bastille

An activist from the environmental movement came on stage in the middle of a performance of "The Magic Flute", and became attached to the decor.


On the evening of Friday, October 28, an activist from the environmental movement "Last renovation" interrupted a performance of "The Magic Flute" at the Opéra Bastille in Paris.

The Last Renovation Collective claimed on Twitter this action of

“civil resistance”

attributed to

“Victor, 25 years old, committed citizen”

“alert against the danger of climate change”

The collective had carried out another action earlier on Friday evening, when a dozen activists blocked the A6a motorway at Arcueil (Val-de-Marne), south of Paris, causing heavy traffic jams.

Last Renovation had carried out several other actions of
