The Criminal Security Branch in Quneitra arrested a network that forged official documents for financial gain.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of that as a result of investigations carried out by the branch in the case of forgery of two deaths with the seal of the Sharia court in Khan Arnaba, a network of 6 persons was exposed, who were involved in forgery of official documents.

The ministry indicated that one of the accused was arrested, and three printers and multiple documents were found in his house, “marriage and proof of parentage, divorce, birth and judgment decisions,” in addition to 86 private agencies and the remains of a burned laptop.

The ministry pointed out that, by interrogating the arrested, he confessed to forging the two aforementioned rulings with the intention of material benefit, possessing printers and documents that he uses in forgery operations, and burning the laptop with the intention of concealing the evidence contained in it.

The arrested also admitted that he works in following up transactions under forged agencies that he prints using the printers confiscated from his home after wearing forged seals and signatures in partnership with five employees and employees of government departments in the Quneitra governorate. sums of money.

The ministry indicated that the necessary action has been taken against the arrested and they will be presented, along with the confiscations, to the competent judiciary.
