The celebration of the Arab Children's Day in its twentieth session included holding a variety of artistic, literary and cultural activities on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center in Tartous.

On its first day, the celebration included the screening of a short introductory cartoon film on the rights of the child, including children with disabilities, with another film that dealt with the most important services and supportive activities for the children of the Center (Nagham and Qalam), and honoring the center's facilitators' team, in addition to a ballet show for the children of the Kronos Institute. Six children from the center and the Mawasem Cultural Forum presented excerpts from their literary productions in poetry, story and thought in the literary paragraph entitled (Promising Pens).

In a statement to SANA, Director of Tartous Culture, Kamal Badran, pointed out that the celebration organized by the Ministry of Culture comes within the interest and keenness of the ministry, and its awareness of the importance of nurturing and embracing the talents of creative children, and working to highlight them through the activities and events that it holds throughout the year.

The writer and writer Ghassan Wannous, the supervisor of the workshop, which was held with the Center (Nagham and Qalam), considered that the celebration of the Arab Children's Day is important, to show the multiple talents of children who constitute promising pens in the field of literature, while a number of children participating in it considered it an opportunity to introduce their literary talents and to identify other talents.

The journalist Bahaa Muhanna, with the participation of a group of children from the Nagham and Qalam Center, spoke in the dialogue symposium devoted to introducing the Child Rights Law on several topics, including the exploitation of child labor, the extent of the family’s influence and role in children’s rights, the right of justice to prove its existence, and the opinion and personality of the child as a member of society .
