October in Germany is approaching the end of the month unusually warm.

Temperatures are well above 20 degrees this weekend.

Offenbach/Munich - With a pleasant 20 to 26 degrees and lots of sun, we are looking forward to an unusual - almost summery - mild Sunday in this country.

This is the current forecast by the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach.

With October, the late summer weather will probably say goodbye in the coming week of November.

On Sunday morning there are still regional areas of fog, otherwise it is sunny with loose veil clouds and much too warm: 20 to 26 degrees.

On Monday it will slowly become a little more unsettled in the northwestern half, with sun and clouds, but rain is rare.

Otherwise it will be sunny at 15 to 23 degrees apart from the thick fog.

Weather forecast from Tuesday: clouds, rain and below 20 degrees

"From Tuesday, the weather will slowly change," said a DWD meteorologist on Saturday (October 29) of the German Press Agency.

The result: November starts with clouds, rain and temperatures below 20 degrees, especially in the north and west.

Until then, October will show itself from its best side.

"Sunday lives up to its name," said the meteorologist.

After the dissipation of partly dense fog fields, it will be sunny.

The sun bathes the autumn leaves in a golden light.

With values ​​between 20 and 26 degrees, there is perfect weather for excursions throughout Germany.

At 25 degrees, the people of Munich can once again enjoy the beer gardens to linger.

Only in the coastal area do clouds cloud the view of the blue sky.

On Monday the temperatures will drop a bit: The maximum values ​​are north of the low mountain ranges at 15 to 20 degrees, further south at 18 to 24 degrees.

Where the fog does not clear, only 15 degrees are reached.

For comparison: On Friday the thermometer in Müllheim in Baden-Württemberg still showed a summery 28.7 degrees - making the city in Markgräflerland the leader in Germany that day.

Even if this year's November starts a bit cooler, according to the DWD weather forecast it will still be too mild for the time of year.
