"Where's Jackie?": Biden looked in the crowd for a congresswoman who died about two months ago (Reuters)
The President of the United States will celebrate his 80th birthday next month, amid a growing wave of speculation and concern about his mental health.
Even among his own party, the Democratic Party, there is growing doubt about the president's ability to run the country.
A new poll by Issues & Insights/TIPP found that overall, 64% of Americans are concerned about Biden's mental state, up from 59% two months ago.
The bulk of the surge came from Democrats.
"The increase in October came from Democrats - 52% of them said they were afraid of the president, compared to only 39% in the August survey," the survey said.
It was also written that maybe it's time for Biden to undergo a mental capacity test, as former President Donald Trump did at the time.
The Issue & Insights/TIPP survey was conducted October 5-7 and included 1,376 adults.

In an interview with CNN on Tuesday, Biden answered his critics: "They're afraid I won't be able to get anything done, and look what I've already done," he said.
"What president in modern history has done so much in the first two years of his term. You may not like what I'm doing, but most Americans do support it."
Biden has made some embarrassing mistakes recently, which causes the wave of speculation around him to continue.
In September, the President of the United States looked for a congresswoman at a nutrition conference, and asked aloud where she was - about two months after she was killed in a car accident.
Biden thanked the convention organizers and then asked, "Jackie, are you here? Where's Jackie?", referring to the late Congresswoman Jackie Velorski.
At that event, he reportedly offered his condolences to her family.

Another embarrassment for Biden: he told the wife of a candidate for the Senate that she would be a "great senator"

Last week, during his state of Pennsylvania speech, Biden heaped praise on some of the state's senators and Democratic candidates.
"John," Biden addressed the candidate during his speech, "thank you very much for running, I really appreciate it."
Biden then turned to the candidate's wife, Gisele, and said: "You're going to be great, you're going to be a great senator."
In general, Biden seems confused, and when he gets off the stage, he is disoriented.
A few days later, Biden wished his deputy Kamala Harris a happy birthday, calling her a "great president" by mistake or joking.
"Happy birthday to a great president, we know your mom is always with you," Biden said, marking Harris' Oct. 20 birthday.
The comment was made during an event marking the Hindu festival of Diwali at the White House.
The president also joked that Harris was turning 30 - the vice president is 58. The White House responded by saying that Harris was simply on the president's mind.
On Friday, Biden attended a rally in support of the Democratic candidate for governor of the state of Pennsylvania, John Peterman, when he said that there are "54 states" in the United States.
Biden talked about health care and mistakenly said that "we've been in 54 states" as part of the administration's fight to end drug price hikes.
"By the way, if they raise prices - it's not a joke. That's why we defeated them in 2018 when they tried to do that. We were in 54 countries," he said.
"The reason is that people don't understand that the only reason a person with a background illness can receive health services is because of the law we enacted."
Biden also misspelled the name of Britain's new prime minister, Rishi Sunak, when congratulating him on his victory - calling him "Sanuk".
Terry Jones, editor of the Issues & Insights website, told The New York Post in August that "the fact is, based on polling, there is real concern among all groups about Biden's mental health. In the run-up to the midterm elections in November, the issue has taken on great political significance." More".

"Just not funny"
CBS News political commentator David Brody said in August that "It's not funny anymore. It's just not funny, and the Democrats know it. What does it mean? What it ultimately means is that Joe Biden is not running for president in 2024. I can't imagine Such a situation. And regardless of me, discussions are already being held inside the White House about how they should deal with the situation without getting hurt."
Biden even called himself in 2018 an "embarrassing mouth emission machine".
He also shared some anecdotes, which to the men of the media, it is impossible to prove their credibility.
On September 18, Biden was interviewed on the CBS program "60 Minutes", and was asked "several people have asked if you can do the job. What do you think about that?".
Biden replied: "Look at me. For God's sake, that's the only thing I'm thinking about."
He added that "I'm completely focused. Look, it's not easy. I have a hard time even telling myself how old I am. I don't feel old. I haven't noticed that things have changed...
