The citizens of Brazil will go to the polls today (Sunday) in the second round of the presidential elections, after in the first round the two candidates, Jair Bolsonaro, the incumbent president from the right, and Lula da Silva, the former president from the left, failed to receive enough votes to declare victory.
According to the polls, Lula has a slight advantage of 4%-8% over Bolsonero in the elections that are considered the most important in years in Brazil.

A Lula victory would be one of the most impressive comebacks in political history.
A former trade union leader who lost three elections before winning in 2002, the 77-year-old led the country for eight years before being elected with more than 80% approval rating.
Lola was also convicted of corruption and served two years in prison before his conviction was overturned.
Since then, Lula has fought relentlessly against an opponent known as the "Trump of Brazil."
During Bolsonaro's tenure, 700,000 people died in the Corona epidemic, deforestation in the Amazon skyrocketed to a 15-year high, and a new affair recently arose regarding the formation of a "secret budget" that provides funds to the president's political allies without transparency or oversight.
