Marina and Florian want to get out of unemployment.

The father of seven, Florian, has been working in the security service for a year.

After a few years without a job, his wife Marina can also look forward to a job, as MANNHEIM24 reports.

In the Benz barracks in Mannheim, cohesion and joie de vivre are very important.

Many residents in the neighborhood are affected by poverty.

Everyday life between offices, looking for work and exclusion is anything but a bed of roses for them.

Marina and Florian live in a terraced house with their six children.

They went on a trip to an adventure pool with their kids.

This is something special for the extended family.

Because: Florian and Marina have financial worries and cannot make big leaps with their salary.

Despite Marina's new job, the "Hartz und Herzen" family lacks money for their six children.

Because Florian took care of the family financially all the time, Marina and Florian received housing benefit and child benefit supplements.

"Hartz and cordial": Marina and Florian spend 300 euros for a day trip

Very early in the morning, the family made their way to the “Rulantica” water world in Rust – covering almost 200 kilometers in the process.

“It was just relaxation for us.

We just took our clothes with us, took our towels with us and we just enjoyed the rest of the day," reveals Marina in the 72nd episode "Hartz und cordial".

Although the parents of seven both work, they have to watch out for the money.

In terms of budget, the excursion went better than expected: "In terms of the prices, it was actually okay, you can't complain," says Florian.

With lunch, drinks, admission and travel expenses, the family spent around 300 euros for the day in the adventure pool.

Their children's hobbies are also an expensive affair for the "Hartz und cordial" family.

Expensive excursions like this remain a rare highlight for the family: "Twice a year you could really make something like this possible for the children, saying: We go up there twice a year," reveals Florian.

Despite the tense financial situation, their kids should not miss out.

"Holidays will then also be possible once a year," Florian continues.

And if it's just the campsite instead of a hotel with breakfast: Marina and Florian would like to go on summer vacation with their children.

The parents of seven want to enable their offspring to take part in leisure activities and relaxation, but they also set limits: "We don't give them everything now, they should know somewhere that everything costs money," asserts Marina.

It is more important to them to experience beautiful moments with their offspring.
