An abandoned bitch has given up all hope.
Until animal rights activist Suzette Hall found out about her.
For weeks she fought for her trust - with success.
Animal rights activists sometimes have a hard time.
A rescue operation does not always go smoothly.
Animal rights activist Suzette Hall knows what she's talking about.
When compassionate residents tell her about stray or injured animals, she responds immediately.
Some of her cues work well, like when a helpless pup happily follows her to the car.
But there are also more difficult cases.
These usually consist of several failed capture attempts and many sleepless nights.
Worth, a tiny white dog, is one such case - a full two weeks Suzette tried to gain her trust to capture her.
Until it finally worked.

When Suzette Hall, the founder of the animal protection organization "Logan's Legacy Rescue" receives the news that a stray dog has been roaming around in an industrial area in Los Angeles for a few weeks in search of food, she immediately sets out.
And indeed she discovers the dog, who makes a pathetic impression with her matted fur.
But she just can't be caught.

"Worth all the trouble": Bitch Worth keeps getting chased away
"I've been on the scene day and night for so many days in a row," Suzette Hall told
The Dodo

But all attempts fail.
“I've tried live traps, food, everything,” says Hall.
"But nothing worked because the people who work there kept chasing them away." No wonder the dog is scared.
'Worth all the trouble': Dog Worth gets a great new life
For two whole weeks, Suzette will do anything to catch her.
Then finally salvation.
With the help of a security guard, the dedicated woman manages to get the little one into her car.
There she immediately sits in the front seat and smiles for the first time in weeks.
"I named her Worth because that's the name of the street I found her on.
And because it's worth all the trouble."

Worth is currently in foster care to recover from the hardships.
But Hall has already found a great family for her.
Soon she will live in a loving home.
And can thus forget these five exhausting weeks forever.
"It was probably the most difficult rescue operation I've ever done.
But she was worth every minute of it.”
