Twenty-seven Attac and Extinction Rebellion activists determined to prevent "
private jets from taking off
" were taken into police custody on Monday after failing to enter the runways of Le Bourget airport, near Paris , learned AFP from activists and the prosecution.
The day was also marked by two actions by another collective, Last renovation.
In Le Bourget (Seine-Saint-Denis), the activists were spotted in the middle of the morning by the police while they were traveling in a truck in the public area of the airport, noted a journalist from the AFP.
The police discovered several dozen activists hiding inside the truck and proceeded to check the identity of each person.

Twenty-seven people were taken into custody, the Bobigny prosecutor's office told AFP.
The criminal qualification retained is not known for the time being.
According to a member of Extinction Rebellion (XR), denouncing an "
abusive procedure
", the activists were taken into custody at the La Courneuve police station.
At the end of September, activists from Attac and XR had already entered a terminal in Le Bourget (Seine-Saint-Denis), presented as the first business airport in Europe.

", AFP learned from a police source.
At the end of the day, a dozen activists from the same group were arrested for trying to block traffic on the Sèvres bridge in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), according to another police source.
