King consort Camilla suffers from fear of flying.

Ironically, on its return flight from Bangalore, the machine collided with a bird.

The plane has to dare the landing approach to London with its nose pressed in.

London Heathrow – The British Airways Boeing 777-200ER (G-YMMJ) with presumably the wife and future Queen of Great Britain Camilla (75) is already descending.

The wife of King Charles III.

(73) had actually been hanging out under the radar with a few friends for ten days at a health resort in Bangalore, India.

Shortly before 1 p.m., the drama begins.

A collision shakes the Boeing as it approaches Heathrow

A bird crashes into the tip of the plane's nose as it lands at London Heathrow.

A photo of the plane after landing shows the massive dent in the plane's nose, where the weather radar is housed.

Although there are always collisions, which according to the flight operators do not pose any danger to the passengers on the flight, such dramas, especially as a person with a fear of flying, can be avoided.

Camilla, meanwhile, has publicly admitted that she's scared of flying, but won't let that stop her from jetting around the world.

But the second wife of Queen Elizabeth II's son (96, † 2022) is said to have sat frightened on the steps of a tiny private jet during a foreign visit and refused to get on.

How widespread is the fear of flying in Germany?

According to a survey by the Allensbach Institute for Demoscopy, 16 percent of Germans suffer from a fear of flying.

Another 22 percent feel uncomfortable boarding a plane.

The situation is similar in the other western countries.

Camilla's fear of flying is hard to hide, as she has been spotted several times on board squeezing her husband Charles' hand as the plane takes off.

Charles, who holds a pilot's license himself, fully understands his wife's phobia, but on one particularly bumpy flight he was heard

yelling out

loud, "Honey, please don't hold me so tight," according to the Daily Mail.

Presumably the Queen Consort in India wanted to take a breather at the Soukya Holistic Health Center in Bangalore after the exhausting phase of the proclamation and mourning of Queen Elizabeth II in order to prepare for the times to come.

The first Christmas without the decades-long leader is coming up, on January 10 Prince Harry will publish his controversial memoirs, which could possibly also be directed against Camilla's person.
