Second defendant apologizes to injured police officer through lawyer

At about 6 o'clock in the evening on the day of the crime, a woman booked a flight for the first defendant to leave Hong Kong for London that night. The first defendant also went home to change clothes, and then dropped a black bag into the sea at the Kwun Tong site.

In addition, Zhang Zhicheng (27), the girlfriend of the first defendant, was charged with one count of obstruction of justice for allegedly helping Huang to leave Hong Kong after the incident.

She denies the charges and the case will be decided on November 11.
