EA announces a collaboration with Marvel's gaming division, under which the companies will develop three games that are based on the comic book characters and will be available for consoles and computers.
The first game to be released is Iron Man (which was already announced last September), and more games about other characters will be revealed later.
Marvel stated that the plots of the games will be unique and will not be linked to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (the MCU).
It was also reported that the games will be in the action-adventure genre, so it can be concluded that we will get single player games in the third person (when the camera is placed behind the player's back).
The two assure us that the game will explore the complicated personality of Tony Stark, his genius and charisma, and will allow players to
"feel like Iron Man"
.
Just by this sentence it sounds like EA's vision is to give players a single player experience that is very reminiscent of games like Spider-Man or Batman's Arkham series, which have gained great popularity and are considered by many to be perfect adaptations of the superheroes in the gaming world.

Next year will see the end of EA's exclusive contract with the "Star Wars" brand, a brand that, like Marvel, is also owned by Disney.
Under EA's watch, the Star Wars games have had their ups and downs.
Many players will forever remember Battlefront II, and the fact that it was considered one of the industry's ugliest examples of a triple-A game that adopted Pay 2 Win mechanics.
So despite the negative criticism that EA has received (and rightfully so) in recent years, the company is trying to redeem itself and has begun to listen to the players and invest more in single player games.
Since then, games like Jedi: Fallen Order have managed to gain the trust of quite a few players in the company.
Let's just hope that EA continues with the same approach, and doesn't go back in its single player games.
