Their passage in front of the pagoda of Évry-Courcouronnes did not go unnoticed.

This Sunday, around 12:30 p.m., the powerful cars of a wedding procession stopped on National 7, between the religious building and the Delbard roundabout.

Revelers interrupted traffic by waving Turkish flags and lighting pink smoke bombs on the road.

They also revved the engine of big cars, including Porsches and Golf R32s.

The procession is noticed by a car from the local anti-crime brigade (Bac) which passed there by chance.

According to a police source, the officers decide to control the black BMW in the lead.

"The driver fled, he drove towards Soisy-sur-Seine, ran through several lights, then he returned to Évry and was arrested at a ramp of the National 7", specifies this same source.

One of the narcotics-positive drivers

Of the four occupants of the car, only the driver was taken into custody.

He is known to justice for refusing to comply.

The 27-year-old also tested positive for narcotics.

The BMW was impounded.

This urban rodeo is in addition to various incidents of the same type that occurred two weeks ago in Ulis and Ris-Orangis.

Five people were taken into custody for “endangering the lives of others” after speed races on the N 118 and the N 104. Six vehicles were also impounded.

Three others were in Ris-Orangis, where the mayor has set up a charter during weddings, which asks the spouses to respect the residents at the exit of the town hall.
