David DePape, the man accused of violently attacking Paul Pelosi -- the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi -- last week, pleaded not guilty to all state charges in his first appearance in court. court this Tuesday.

The federal charges against DePape are in addition to the state charges, which San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced Monday.
Among the accusations are "attempted murder, residential robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, abuse of an elderly man, illegal detention of an elderly man, as well as threats to a public official and his family," the prosecutor said.
