Gabriel Kelly lived a nomadic life for a long time with his father Angelo and the Kelly Family 2.0.
As a little boy it wasn't easy for him.
Warnemünde – Music was born to him: Gabriel Kelly (21) traveled all over Europe with his father Angelo Kelly (40), his mother Kira Harms Kelly (43) and his siblings as “Angelo Kelly & Family” for years .
Similar to the nineties legends "The Kelly Family", whose baby was Angelo, they toured from place to place without a fixed address, always looking for the next gig.
This nomadic life taught Angelos' kids important lessons early on - but as Gabriel now reveals, everyday life as a family member was often lonely.
Speaking on the Podcousin podcast, the musician - who, unlike the rest of the Kellys, has been trying his hand at rapping for a while - explained that constantly traveling from city to city hasn't always been easy for him.
It was almost impossible for him and his siblings to make friends because the family only stayed in one place for a very short time.
Today, Gabriel Kelly also doesn't have a high school diploma - that's why, as he revealed a while ago, it has to work with the music.
Gabriel Kelly is open about how lonely his childhood as a musician was
"Travelling was hard for me because we had no friends and nothing.
We only had us," reveals Gabriel Kelly openly in the podcast "Podcousin".
He and his siblings had to change schools time and time again, and they rarely stayed in one place for long.
Today, Gabriel doesn't exactly remember how often the family ended up moving.
Today the band "Angelo Kelly & Family" is history.
Gabriel has been living in his mother's birthplace Warnemünde since 2020, where he tries to be a rapper.
As the "Bunte" writes, among other things, the 21-year-old has no other option than a music career.
Because without a school-leaving certificate, it would be difficult for him to start an apprenticeship or even study.
"For me, there is no plan B, because anyone who doubts this plan also doubts plan A," quotes the publication Gabriel.
