In October, unemployment figures in the district of Munich fell slightly.

– According to the monthly report from the Employment Agency, 4,839 people were unemployed last month.
This was 208 people and thus 4.1 percent fewer than in the previous month.
The unemployment rate was 2.5 percent.
In the district's job center, the number of unemployed has increased slightly.
The number of people cared for by the Munich district job center was 2,272. This was 15 people more than in the previous month.
High demand for labor and skilled workers in almost all sectors
According to the agency's press release, the Munich job market has so far remained unaffected by the expected recession.
“Despite the current challenges, there is still a high demand for workers and skilled workers in almost all sectors.
For this reason, no increased increase in unemployment is currently to be expected on the Munich labor market," says Wilfried Hüntelmann, CEO of the Employment Agency.
In October, the Munich Employment Agency received 3,462 job offers.
That was 195 more than in the previous month.
There are currently 14,253 job offers in the job pool.
