Heidi Klum presented herself as a worm at her Halloween party this year.

The look is currently splitting the web.

Los Angeles – Year after year, Heidi Klum delights her fans with extravagant Halloween costumes.

After a forced break of two years, the model can finally dress up again.

Or not, judging by her outfit this year.

Heidi Klum celebrates Halloween as a mega worm

On the morning of October 31, Heidi Klum already showed her Instagram followers parts of the costume.

But what the model mom would ultimately dress up as, no one suspected.

In the evening she presented her outfit at the "Heidi Klum Halloween" party: she went as a giant worm!

On the hook of husband Tom Kaulitz, she hopped across the carpet.

Heidi couldn't really move in the suit.

So she hardly posed for pictures - if she did, she just lay on the floor.

In the evening she exchanged the worm costume for a glittering bodysuit and showed a lot of skin.

However, she kept the face of the worm on all night.

With a worm costume, Heidi Klum meets with divided opinion on the Internet

As funny as the idea may be, Heidi Klum splits the web as a worm.

Some thought more of a "kebab kebab" or a "croissant" when they saw it, as comments on a Facebook post about Heidi's outfit show.

However, it is clear that many fans find this year's look a little disturbing: "I think it's disgusting," criticizes one fan.

Luckily, there was plenty of praise amid all the criticism: "Every year the costumes are just super funny.

I thought it was very cool," celebrates a Facebook user.

"Unbelievable good!

She's celebrated for it in America," laughs another fan. "Brilliant," summarized another Facebook user.

Disappointment is also spreading in the comments.

So some didn't find the worm scary enough.

It remains to be seen whether Heidi Klum will take the criticism to heart and choose a creepy costume for next year.

Together with her daughter Leni, Heidi Klum knocked her fans out of their socks in a leather outfit.
