"Credible information" of threat against a synagogue in New Jersey puts authorities on alert

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy reported Friday that a threat against a state synagogue, which had led to increased surveillance in the region, has been mitigated.

The alert came after the FBI said it had received "credible information" of threats against the religious temple.

Murphy said authorities will remain vigilant.
