On November 4th, not far from Europa-Park, a restaurant will open that is supposed to revolutionize gastronomy.

Architecture, cuisine, scents and sounds form a symbiosis that is rarely experienced in this way.

Within a short space of time, visitors are diving the depths of the ocean, traveling across Asia and dining on the moon.

According to Europa-Park Managing Director Thomas Mack, “Eatrenalin” is a concept that is unique in the world and does not exist anywhere else.

Together with the restaurateur Oliver Altherr, Mack wants to set new trends in the industry and create a brand that could soon conquer the world's metropolises, as

As the first restaurant in the world to transport its guests on mobile armchairs, "Eatrenalin" will be launched on November 4th in Rust.

Not far from Europa-Park, right next to Hotel Krønasår and the water world Rulantica, the restaurant is located in a futuristic cube.

With menus from 195 to 645 euros per person, the offer is in the luxury segment.

For this purpose, the participants of the gourmet journey are offered a 100-minute event that opens up completely unimagined perspectives.

Thanks to an ingenious drive system from Mack Rides, guests can lean back comfortably in their armchairs and float through six different themed rooms as if by magic.

Meanwhile, an eight-course menu is served, created under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Pablo Montoro.

The handling of visitor groups is already running like clockwork: every 25 minutes, a group of 16 participants starts their journey through "Eatrenalin".

According to Thomas Mack, five “trains” are in use at the same time.

In other words: when a group leaves a room, there is already room for the next one.

Up to 200 guests can be served in one evening alone.

Groups of companies are also interesting as potential customers for the operator: "Eatrenalin is ideally suited for a company event or Christmas party, as the movements of the seats also change the conversation partner and you always get to talk to new colleagues," says Thomas Mack.

On Fridays and Saturdays there is also a DJ in the bar, where all participants of the event later meet for a nightcap.

If Altherr and Mack have their way, the "Eatrenalin" brand should not be limited to Rust and its catchment area in the future.

Rather, they are striving to establish themselves with the concept in “metropolises worldwide” in the long term.

Her goal is first to perfect the Rust location and then to expand to “Singapore, New York and Paris”, for example.

The event should also continue to develop in Rust itself - the menu changes three times a year.

Visitors can choose between a vegan and a meat-based menu.

According to Thomas Mack, the choice of ingredients can depend on the season: “There can be special weeks during the truffle or asparagus season.” In addition, specific menus are also offered for Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Although "Eatrenalin" has so far remained under wraps to the public, it is already enjoying great popularity.

According to Mack, Eatrenalin received several hundred inquiries from the very first day that appointment bookings were activated.

If the operators have their way, it shouldn't be a one-off visit: "We want the guests to come once a year if they like it," says Oliver Altherr.

The feedback after the test runs speaks for itself: "People come out and are totally blown away," says Thomas Mack.

"Many say: We were so overwhelmed that we completely forgot to give a tip." But the Eatrenalin wouldn't be the restaurant of the future if it didn't have a smart solution for this problem too: visitors have it via QR codes Possibility to transfer the tip digitally afterwards.
