The Lebanese Ministry of Health recorded three new cases of cholera during the past 24 hours.
The ministry stated in a report published today that the cumulative number of cholera infections has so far in the country reached 416, while the cumulative number of deaths due to the epidemic has reached 18 cases.
According to international figures, the cholera epidemic annually affects between 1.3 million and 4 million people in the world, and leads to the death of between 21 thousand and 143 thousand people.
