In the dictionary of the left, a word has appeared in recent weeks: "demelenchonization".
Definition: the future of the left – and especially the presidential election of 2027 – must do without the former candidate of La France insoumise.
Everything is very subtle.
No executive says officially wanting to send Jean-Luc Mélenchon to retirement.
But there are signs.
A new one was sent last Monday by Clémentine Autain, on BFMTV.
The LFI MP, whose ambition no longer holds much of a secret, threw a stone into the pond by considering that it
“would be time not to simply sound out Jean-Luc Mélenchon as LFI candidate but to sound out the set of Nupes”
.

," she said, implying that the investigations might be better for the left if another name was tested.
Not to everyone's taste within La France insoumise.
