Ryanair flight FR 2159 was supposed to take off from Nuremberg to Palma de Mallorca at around 5 p.m.

However, six men delayed the departure due to their behavior - and flew overboard.

Nuremberg - Going on holiday exuberantly and in a good mood: of course.

However, six men took it to such an extreme that they did not reach their destination.

Ryanair flight FR 2159 was supposed to leave Nuremberg's Albrecht Dürer Airport at around 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, towards the Balearic island of Palma de Mallorca.

However, the take-off was delayed after the six men, already on board and on the runway, forced the pilot to act.

As reported by the police, the six men initially drew attention to themselves because of their volume.

The men were heavily intoxicated and defied the flight crew's instructions.

They did not comply with the request to refrain from consuming alcohol they had brought with them or from smoking e-cigarettes.

Given their abusive and disrespectful behavior, the pilot decided that the men should be banned from the flight.

At this point, the aircraft was already on the runway and was now forced to return to the terminal.

Police officers from the airport border police escorted the six troublemakers from the plane with support staff.

The men now have to answer for violating the Aviation Security Act.

The plane was finally able to take off with a one-hour delay.
