The amount offered in the lottery breaks the "world record for the largest amount drawn in the Guinness National Lottery," according to a tweet from the company on Twitter. The biggest lottery prize in the world ever will be drawn in the Powerball lottery tomorrow in the United States - this is what the gaming operator announced today (Friday).

The value of the prize is 1.6 billion dollars, and the lottery will take place tomorrow at 10:59 PM according to Florida time.

The amount offered in the lottery breaks the "world record for the largest amount drawn in a Guinness national lottery," according to a tweet from the company on Twitter.

The previous record was broken by Powerball in January 2016, when three tickets won the amount of 1.586 billion dollars.

The winner of the prize will be able to decide on one of two ways to receive it: one, in one large payment, from which interest will be taken, which will leave an amount that will stand at approximately 782.4 million dollars.

In the second way, he will receive the prize in monthly payments of the entire amount spread over 30 years.

This is the 40th Powerball lottery held since the last time someone won a prize, which was on August 3.

According to the company, if no one wins the lottery tomorrow as well, this will equal the current record for the number of consecutive lotteries without a winner.
