The Paris Stock Exchange has recovered in recent weeks.
In October, its flagship index, the CAC 40, recovered 8.75%.
And on Friday, it still soared by 2.77%, to 6,416 points.
Admittedly, this rebound, occurring after a difficult month of September, is partly technical.
But it is also fueled by better-than-expected corporate results.
“The results are pretty good overall.
There is no catastrophe”
, summarizes Vincent Boy, market analyst at IG Group.
At this stage, more than three quarters of the flagships of the CAC 40 have published their quarterly results.
Their profits increased by 45% compared to the third quarter of 2021.
“This increase is higher than the expectations of analysts, who expected an increase of 21%,
