A person identified as a widespread threat to synagogues in New Jersey has been located by the FBI and will be investigated - the intelligence organization announced this evening (Friday).
According to the FBI's subsequent announcement, "the source of the threat no longer poses a danger to the community."
According to a publication on the CNN network, the person who was located and brought in for questioning told the authorities that he "doesn't like Jews and is very angry", but stated that he did not intend to do anything harmful - according to sources familiar with the details.
Also, the sources explained that the authorities rushed to act because the anti-Semitic threat, which was posted online, was written as if it had already been made.
According to them, similar threats were issued in the past by armed people just before they acted to kill people.
The threat has been removed.

The warning was issued by the FBI this morning, when it noted that there is a "real threat" to synagogues in New Jersey, and asked their management to take security measures to protect the Jewish communities and the buildings in which they operate.
"Stay vigilant," the organization's field office in Newark said in a brief statement.
