Former CIA adviser James Ricards explained that the American and British intelligence and the Western media are spreading false news and misinformation about Russian President Vladimir Putin, and distorting his statements about nuclear weapons.
In an article published on the Daily Reconnaissance website, Rickards pointed out that “the US and British CIA are constantly publishing anti-Russian misinformation, which the Washington Post, the New York Times and NBC News pick up on,” explaining that the promoters in the United States and Britain waged a psychological war by distorting the Russian president’s statement about Weapons of mass destruction.
Rickards added: The American elites claim that Putin threatened to use tactical weapons in Ukraine and this is a lie, and Putin did not say such a thing, pointing out that after that, the Western media began accusing Moscow of plans to use a dirty bomb in Ukraine.
