The Last Renovation collective blocked traffic in front of the Ministry of Finance in Bercy (XIIe) this Saturday, November 5.
Ten activists began their action at 1:25 p.m., some even binding themselves with chains.
The police intervened at 1:33 p.m. and reinforcements arrived a few minutes later to clear the way for the cars.
Several videos on social networks show the nervousness of motorists dragging inert activists to clear the way, before they get back in place and again block traffic.
The first action of this group, which calls for the "
comprehensive and efficient renovation of the French housing stock by 2040 and to develop a simple and progressive financing system taking charge of all the work for the most modest owners
", goes back to
on April 1 with the blocking of the Paris ring road.
An activist had also disrupted the Roland-Garros final by attaching herself to the tennis court net in early June.

Last Renovation carried out several other actions of
"disobedience"
such as the interruption of the Tour de France cyclist.
Six activists will be tried on November 22 in Auch (Gers) on the charge of "obstructing the circulation of vehicles" during the competition.
On October 16, an activist of the movement also burst onto the lawn of the Parc des Princes in Paris during the Classico PSG-OM.
"After having tried everything to make our political leaders listen to reason (...), non-violent civil resistance is our best chance of obtaining real change"
, considers the collective.
More recently, activists blocked traffic for 2.5 hours in front of the National Assembly on November 2 to denounce under-investment in thermal renovation in the budget vote.
The police then arrested nine activists.
