Trucks and trailers tip over on the A99: several hours of traffic jams

A truck with a trailer overturned on the A99 near Unterföhring on Friday evening.
The driver was injured and there was property damage of 30,000 euros.
Unterföhring
– The 48-year-old driver was driving in the direction of Stuttgart at around 7:15 p.m.
He was in the third of the four lanes when he lost control.
According to the police, the trailer, which was loaded with a construction machine and some sand, overturned.
The truck and trailer rolled onto the road and lay on the left lane and the two middle lanes.
The driver suffered a head laceration.
He was taken to a Munich hospital for further examination.
His two companions, aged 27 and 45, escaped with abrasions.
Significant traffic jam
The Aschheim fire brigade rushed to help with 25 emergency services, secured the area of danger and illuminated the scene of the accident during the rescue.
Traffic flowed past the right lane.
There was a significant traffic jam.
The operation lasted three and a half hours, reports the highway police.
Road is damaged
There was a chess damage of around 30,000 euros, since in addition to the damaged trucks and trailers, there was also considerable road damage.
The cause of the serious traffic accident is still being clarified.
It is currently ruled out that another vehicle was involved.
